I’ve run plenty of pipes over the years, from OEM to custom to some of the big-name aftermarket brands. Nothing even comes close to what Hygge is doing with these hand-made cone pipes. I’ve run a lot of expansion chambers on CR500s over the years, but the HYGGE CR500 pipe stands in a league of its own. The craftsmanship is top-tier—beautiful welds, clean bends, and a solid fit that doesn’t require any wrestling to install.

Performance-wise, this thing absolutely wakes the bike up. Bottom end is noticeably crisper, and the mid-to-top pull is brutal—in the best way possible. It smooths out the powerband just enough to make it usable, but still keeps the arm-ripping hit CR500s are known for. It’s like giving the motor a new personality—angry, but refined.

Whether you're hill climbing, moto blasting, or just a 2-stroke junkie like me, this expansion chamber brings the fire. The sound alone will give you chills—raw, raspy, and mean. You’ll get looks. Lots of them.

I have bought a few pipes from Steve for snow bikes and dirt bikes. All of his pipes are a work of art. The attention to detail is amazing and they work as well as they look. I am about 20% heavier than my riding buddy that has an identical YZ250X with the same mods other than an FMF Fatty. We are neck and neck racing so I would say the Hygge pipe has a significant power gain over an FMF.
